Sydney Spotting Photos 24/2/2011
Hey everyone,
After picking up my new camera lens this morning (Sigma 50-500mm F4.5-6.3 APO DG OS HSM), I decided to test it out. Below are some photos that I took today. Its the first time that I have used a lens of this size & I immediately fell in love with it (Bernie P can refer to this ). Iron Maiden 757, G-STRX VH-VPH operating V Australia's inaugural VA29 Sydney - Abu Dhabi flight. Please feel free to leave any comments/criticism. Any criticism, is good criticism!!! |

I like how the photos look like they are in the same spot so it gives a good comparison of the different aircraft types, colours, size etc. Nice job Jayden

Nice photos. What body do you use Jayden? If cropped would the lens work on a full frame? Thanks.

The Sigma lenses the whole range will work on any camera, you just need to get the appropriate mount. ie the 50-500 will go on the 30D,7D, 5D,1D etc

Thanks for all the comments.
Tony, I'm currently using a Nikon D90 which seems to be doing just the right job! |

excellent shots Jayden, you must have been at the mound same time as me and the other crowd? (I have a similar shot of the JAL 777)
I too bought a new DSLR, Lumix G10 big improvement on my previous Nikon L100 but no way as good as yours.
