mass cancellations ZQN & CHC today

it seems ZQN got buried in snow & many if not all trans-tasman flights to ZQN got cancelled today + apparently most CHC/ZQN & probably AKL/ZQN.

Heard that IVC & DUD also had lots of snow, so airlines were not diverting just cancelling.

Must cause a huge backlog.

WLG is currently closed to domestic flights due to snow.

It snowed in Auckland today for the first time in 80 years.

Are NZL airports open today ?

Read Queenstown had another big dump of snow & it's still snowing if you can believe ski resort snow reports, which tend to exagerate snow falls.

David AKL had snow in the 1990s I seen it on One Tree Hill, I don't believe the 80 years bit at all.
