Default Avalon 2009 - Photo Thread

I was down at Avalon yesterday and some fortunate timing allowed me onboard the three Gulfstream corporates on display, the G550, G200 and G150.

The G550 is just pure luxury and comfort in the main cabin, after walking through a 2-3 meter bar area, there are four seats facing each
other then a setting for four at the dinner table with serving buffet opposite.

The next section of the G550 cabin has two seats facing each other and a long lounge opposite. All the seats have a release on the
armrest that allows the seat to move towards the centre of the cabin and then spin around in the other direction, you choose the
confirguration that suits.

A little difficult with the focus in such a long narrow galley/bar area, however it gives an
idea of the setup. The food preparation includes warming ovens etc.

The G550 cockpit layout is superb, with four large screens covering the normal instrumentation and navigation, a view from the under nose
mounted video camera (the picture is enhanced for cloud and night operation), and an inset view from the tail mounted video camera
on the far right screen. Viedo cameras can also be mounted on the main gear.

The G200 is a little more compact that the G550, but still retains all the comfort and luxury expected in these aircraft. At the rear
of the aircraft there are two seats facing each other and a large lounge for three opposite. Toilet and wash room are at the rear.

A dining table can be extended out from a consealed side panel and you have the perfect dinner for two.

The G150 is slightly more compact again and has seating for four in the rear of the cabin, along with toilet and wash room.

Further forward there is lounge style seating for two with one seat opposite, and a small galley/bar area.

The G150 cockpit is compact and has four large screens that are quite deep .
