Hi all

Firstly let me say that I have zero technical knowledge of the Airbus systems so please excuse my ignorance.

I watched the program and note all of the previous posters comments which seem to be universally critical of the entire presentation.

Media bashing aside, it does appear to have been a fairly serious incident which resulted in a number of quite serious injuries. With this in mind I wonder if it may be possible for some of the more technically minded to advise whether any of the issues raised have any substance.

Specifically is there any conclusive answer to what caused the problem and if so what has been the solution to ensure no further repeat of the problem ?

Is there an underlying unresolved issue with a software or computer glitch.?

Is the aircraft back in service and if so what repairs apart from cosmetic repairs to the cabin etc were undertaken and how long would have the aircraft been grounded.

Please accept this in the spirit it is intended, just genuine questions from someone with zero technical knowledge.

Cheers

Adam J
