Default United Airlines Flight 870

Hi,

Would anyone know why United Airlines Flight 870 from Sydney to San Fran was cancelled today (6/5) ?

My friend said he couldn't fly out until Sunday 8th of May.

Cheers

Rob

The flight must have been cancelled at SFO. No a/c arrived but we have two flights (UA863 and UA863D) today.

The 870 probably went tech - as per the united's website the reason was 'aircraft servicing'

Yeah weird,

I was at the airport this afternoon and saw newly painted UA/CO 744 at GA at about 3pm

If N127UA was the aircraft then it departed back to San Francisco as UA1751 this afternoon.

Thanks for confirming the rego Jayden Judging by the original post I'd also say it had pax on board.

If the aircraft had of departed on time, there could of been a fairly good chance of a photo of two United 747's heading for SFO in one shot, possibly one in the old livery and one in the new. That would of been a very lucky shot if it happened.
