Let me see if I can explain the parking situation.

Rydges will validate your parking ticket saving you 50% BUT you must have been parked for 3 hours or more and the validation is on the full retail price only.

We stayed here on Friday night and the parking was $112 but with validation, paid $56. We entered the carpark at 1430 and drove out around 0930 the next morning.
Its not the hotel for people who want to be able to come and go and they please.

Rydges website states you should keep an eye on parking specials. This would work if you can get a deal for less than $56 as they only validate off the full retail price. So if you get a deal for say $70 for the night, don't expect that you will get a 50% validation to $35.
