Must be an incorrect hex code in planeplotter then..... it's just over the top of YSSY now.

Yup - just got a visual on it from the house - definately a 777 (damn you technology!)

Lee, just checked my SBS database for yesterday's UAE419 and shows it was A6-ECE (B77W) with hexcode 89610C. So it wasn't me.

PlanePlotter displays the feeds from a few sharers in the Sydney basin from either their Kinetic SBS or RadarBox receivers. It would seem that one of the sharers' database has the wrong rego entered for that a/c and PP has picked up that incorrect rego and displayed it unfortunately.

Noel,

Appreciate the reply - I guess the guy with the incorrect data will only know who they are when they check their logs - one day I'll get me one of them "fang dangled techno things" as Nigel describes it!

Eyeball MkII only has a range of 10NM, Nigel ... I need better goggles!

I can find spiders on the runways during the midnight runway inspections...is that good enough for you?

And no, I'm not joking.
