I believe from flightradar24.com and the Qantas schedules, Qantas will operate 2 B767-300 flights today from Canberra to Melbourne. First due to arrive at 1135 at OF850 and then at 1300 as QF848. This funnily enough never got mentioned. Both flights due to fly back to Melbourne as QF853 and QF851.

VH-OGU is operating QF850.

Yup, due to cricket yesterday. But interesting there's two flights because normally it's only one flight after the cricket traditionally.

Does anyone know what will happen from 2015 with those flights that are operated by 767's due to the cricket teams and their entourages on board? For example, Qantas scheduled 767's into Hobart last summer when the cricket teams were flying in/out. Once the 767's are retired, will these go to A330's?

I'd probably guess they'd charter a 717 or 737 to the cricket teams rather than send A330s into HBA or CBR.

That said, as a CBR local, more than happy to be proven wrong!!

As a HBA local I'd be more than happy to see it too! I was on a ADL-HBA 767 flight with the cricket teams last summer, it was completely full.

I'm hearing 4 more 767s will be parked in ASP in January. From pretty good sources.

As far as I know OGL, M, O, T and U should all retire on the final day of service (or in the days leading up to it), OGI however was retired yesterday.
