Well Grahame, both those sites are very particular. I submitted 9 photos last Month. Took them 5 days to reject all of them with varying petty reasons but I was 10,000th in the queue so they certainly have a lot to choose from.
One of them was a reasonable sunset shot of Paris CDG ramp and was rejected because 'the horizon was not level!' End of the day they suit me. All 3 of those I just posted would have been rejected because there are other planes in close proximity and the CL300 was tail on with doors open. |

Agree Peter, I have over 800 shots on Airliners, but I have lost interest as they became very very picky about what they would accept, and sometimes the reason was very weak.

Don't get me wrong folks. The quality of the mainstream photo sites is very good but some people (including members of this forum) have airside access and some very good equipment and therefore in a better position to take top quality shots.
Will keep snapping away. |
