Worlds most dangerous airlines
Noted this on News.com.au
http://www.news.com.au/travel/galler...5540242?page=1 Do tend to note that they class China airlines as one of the dangerous airlines, yet put a picture of China Eastern??

Thai Airways #9???? Please  From the comment about PR it sounds like they included terror attacks it the data I was under the assumption that acts of terror weren't counted in official accident figures.

Someone posted this article on my Facebook the other day, to which I disagreed to viciously.
It astounds me that the article only picks on Asian, African and other non-Western airlines, and no one else. Would I be correct that our legacy American carriers like American Airlines, statistically, should be up there as well as some European carriers? It's disappointing that the media in general doesn't deserve my attention any longer.

The article also looks at an airline's total safety record and doesn't recognise those airlines who may have had a poor record in the past but have gone ahead in leaps and bounds lately. China Airlines is one that comes to mind in this regard, listed on the article at no. 2.
