Default 727 crashed in aid of scientific crash testing

Hi guys,

For the first time in 30 years an aircraft has been crashed, on purpose, to assist in learning more about the effect of such a high velocity incident on the human body.

Seems as though if your plane crashes the middle of the aircraft is where you want to be seated! Economy is looking better and better all the time!

Some footage on the link as well. Will try to find other reports latter in the day.

Apparently a documentary is being made on the whole experiment and is meant to be screened on British TV next month...

Cheers

M
