Indeed it was OEG that operated down to Avalon today.

And sadly for those attending the weather appears to involve intermittent showers this morning. Hope things clear up and that the day is a success.

Rain again appears to be falling at Avalon according to the current Melbourne radar snapshot. Of more concern is the "apparent" temperature right now...

5.7 degrees (actual temp is 13.0) and 20kt WSW winds.

Well as Craig said it was OEG that was at Avalon today. We went for a walk on board and to me it was rather a let down, as it was only a tour through the main deck. There was no public access to the upper deck or flight deck visits, Out of V Australia's tour and Qantas tour i must say V Australia's was the better one.
