QF A380 at NZAA

Arrived NZAA 2245 local last night.

Departed for a demo flight around 1000 local this morning. Flew over the central city then a loop out over Great Barrier Island, north to Whangarei and back for a second fly over of the central city.

It was on finals for 23L when they advised the tower that they had a windshear warning and they were going around.

Unidentified voice on the radio "Well, that's an Airbus for you".

Turned right and flew directly over my office.

Yay for the go around!!

Successful landing second time at 1130.

It's headed back to YSSY this arvo.
