Default New Style QF B73H Arrives

Hi,

B737-800 ZK-ZQA arrived tonight.

ZQA is the first QF aircraft to arrive with the new AVOD IFE in both classes, as well as new style domestic/trans tasman seating.

Apparently all new B73H deliveries will arrive with this new style fit out.

2 questions...

Will the exisitng B73H fleet be refitted?

And will the 2x new domestic A332s due later this year arrive with this new interior?

Thanks

No. They did a lot of cost analysis on fitting the exisitng 737's with in seat video and it couldn't be justified. The new product is only going to the international 737's.

The incoming A332's will have the existing domestic configuration EBK etc have installed.

And for anyone in Brissy - it will operate AKL/BNE today.

Just read the annual report 2009. It states on page 36 that the domestic A332s will have AVOD fitted.
