Anyone know what callsign MVX is?
Hi all,
The last few nights while up working on my website I've noticed in the wee early hours.. eg. midnight til around 3am an aircraft appearing with a callsign of MVX just flying around aimlessly (or so it appears). The ModeS is 7C3FCB. Anyone know what it is? airframes.org doesn't show any data. It doesn't seem to be destined for anywhere in particular as it just seems to come and go over a period of a couple of hours. Would this possibly be a military aircraft? Any information would be great. It's got me intrigued. Plus I can add it to my database if I can find specifics. Thanks G |

MVX is a Kingair with the RFDS.

Geoff
I was hearing this callsign as well last night. Intrigued, I looked it up on airliners.net to get some mental imagery of what it'd look like, and got this as a result. As I asked elsewhere on the forum on the status of these fleet of aircraft in Australia, I didn't think this was the case! Thanks Nigel for the info |

And we don't wander aimlessly around the skies, we generally have some idea where we're going, .
