Default Day Trip to SYD

So I am on a day trip to SYD. From MEL Flying QF420 (A330-300) on the way back to MEL QF467 (A330-200) my first flights on A330s and I get both. I have not been to SYD for a while what are some great spotting areas around the airport?

Shep's Mound in the morning (although that's nearly over), Tower Beach or Observation Deck in the afternoon.

This could make for some interesting landings. From within www.airservicesaustralia.com
