 DAY 5: NOVEMBER 28: AUCKLAND AIRPORT SPOTTING We spent about 4 hours at the spotting location on Puhinui Road; it is a great spot for RWY23L arrivals. RWY23L departures can be seen but 300mm+ is needed for descent photos. RWY05R departures would be good as well and RWY05R arrivals you would probably need 400mm+. Here are some of my photos.
