Personally, Port Macquarie is the scariest airport I've visited...

It's flat all around with no hills and nothing to hit, been there quite a few times in the last year on the bank run in the Metro.

Talking to another ex-PNG pilot earlier today and we got talking about the dangerous strips up there. I mentioned Fane with its 16° slope and he said that there was another strip (can't remember the name) that was 300 metres long and had a 23° slope.
Nasty.

I reckon you'd stop pretty quick on a 23 degree upslope!

You'd be hoping the brakes held and you didn't slide backwards off it!
