Callsign question?
Just heard a callsign of "Spotter 267".
What sort of plane uses that callsign? It was heading out Lithgow way i think. Gerard |

Google Cache is my friend.
Spotter 267 = Cessna 180 VH-DLB (operated by Curtis Aviation from Camden) |

Probably Neptune VH-IOY of HARS based at Albion Park. It departed yesterday afternoon for somewhere over the escarpment west of Wollongong.

The Neptune flew up to Richmond to commemorate a crash of a Neptune there 50 years ago.
