all outbound international flights have been cancelled, incident seems to be revolving around MH.

Just caught the end of the story on Weekend Sunrise. This article also from the Sydney Morning Herald.

http://http://www.smh.com.au/news/national/perth-airport-evacuated/2008/05/04/1209235248000.html

Seems that the international terminal has now re-opened after clicking Montague's Perth Airport link above.

We arrived while it was all kicking off. First sign was an Air New Zealand 767 parked at the Virgin terminal, then Cathay calling up to get an update from the tower.

Interesting night at the ITB!

What I find rather funny was that the baggage boys removed the packages from the cargo hold, put them on the ground and then went home at the end of the shift. Gold.

Do QF handle Malaysian Airlines in PER? They do in MEL, the aircraft will pull in and 15 mins later they turn up to unload the aircraft
