Default Storms over SE Australia

Have noticed some very strange flightpaths tonight due to storms near Wagga, Canberra and Albury. QF487 SYD-MEL tracked around 100nm off the coast of Bega before turning west towards Melbourne.

Also noticed a very strange ATIS for Canberra, assuming this is due to the storm?
