Default Man charged with shining laser at plane

From NEWS.COM.AU:

Quote:
A man has been arrested after allegedly shining a laser into the cockpit of a plane flying over Brisbane's northside.

Police said the pilot of a light aircraft reported a green light shining into his plane's cockpit as he flew over the suburb of Ashgrove just before 6pm (AEST) on Thursday.

The plane was not a commercial flight and was carrying no passengers.

Inquiries led officers to an Ashgrove residence where a laser was seized, police said.

A 20-year-old man has been charged with endangering the safe use of a vehicle by directing a beam of light from a laser.

He has also been charged with assault.

He will face Brisbane Magistrates Court in September at a date to be advised.
