Hi Robert,
I also saw that last night when I was looking around the radar...Does anyone have an idea why it turned around from that far away, and didn't just divert back to Brisbane? Thanks -Matthew |

AFAIK, SYD is the only Fedex port in Australia. If it's a tech issue, which I suspects it is, by returning to SYD rather than BNE etc any parts they require can literally be fedexed straight to the aircraft!
