Grahame,

Do you have the capability to track aircraft down the south coast (NSW), i.e missed approaches and so forth?

Cheers

Adam

Adam, My PlanePlotter setup tracks a large number of flights (not all) from Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and sometimes Cairns thanks to all the people with receivers around the country. A good part of the airspace between these cities is covered. The far south coast of NSW might be a bit hit and miss as the PlanePlotter receivers tend to be in the major cities. A missed approach would be seen on PlanePlotter, as are all the holding patterns. With the fog on Wednsaday there were a number of flights holding about 80nm of the coast at Sydney, and also down over Goulburn way.
