Default Aerial firefighting

Some great flying and unique views of fixed wing firefighting from the Spanish Air Force using CL-415's. Best viewed in full screen and HD

And another video, this time a tribute to Spanish Air Force pilots lost in firefighting operations.

Some amazing flying in the first video, rapid full aileron diflection in both directions, and the co-pilot controlling the throttles - full on activity in the cockpit. The CL-415 appears to hold 6140 ltrs of water, compared to 9000 ltrs for the Erikson Skycrane.

Looks like they have gotten better at flying them since they received the planes from buffalo air, and consequently landed one without putting the wheels down.

Some great footage their.

Buffalo ones are 215's which went to Turkey for a couple of fire seasons.
