A brilliant morning of photography on Runway 16R, a big thank you to Kurt, Nigel and Anne (from SACL) for organising the event. Your
hard work is greatly appreciated.

Garuda Indonesia A330 PK-GPL touching down on Runway 16R.

Love it when the hold the nose up high after touchdown - PK-GPO.

The Singapore A380 Captain keeps the right wing down to allow for the crosswind from the west - 9V-SKQ.

I like the look of the A330 landing gear on touchdown, with the wheels pitched up (the opposite of the B767 where they pitch down) - VH-EBS

A Tiger waiting to go, leading edge out and a touch of flaps - VH-VNJ.

The Rex First Officer lets us know what he thinks about our location - VH-RXE

This is the location we photographed from. Since this image was taken, a bitumen parking area has been built in this area of grass.

Brad, it's a method the pilots use to cool the brakes down!
