Danny,
Dumb question but whereabouts on the airport grounds is the hangar/new location for the show? I'm guessing it'll be well signposted etc? Planning to head out for this one, not sure exactly which day so far but it'll be great to catch up again. Cheers, Dan

Hi Dan,
Mate it will be well sign posted but it isnt too hard to find. Just drive down Airport Avenue and turn left onto Comper street, then left onto Rearwin Place. Look forward to seeing you there mate! |

The plan was to fly out to Bathurst this morning, however cloud on the ground at Mt Victoria put an end to that. So while I waited for the weather to improve, I had a walk around the show to see what was on offer. By 11am things were looking brighter so I managed a few circuits in the Archer III, my first time in this model.
Although the day was very overcast, here is some of what was on display (hopefully a brighter day tomorrow) ..... VH-URB GA-8 (GA8-08-142) 2009 - Stick & Rudder Aviation The show stands wre in the hanger at left with aircraft parked on the apron across to Hawker Pacific Great to see the HARS Catalina again, a very well presented aircraft. The rear bubble canpoies on the Catalina look great, although no Browning 0.5in machine gun to be seen. VH-ONC PA-31 (PA-31-350) 1978 - Australian Aerial Serveys
