Default Government Funds to Target Coober Pedy Airport Revamp

Well, no one seems to have picked it up, so here you go:

Quote:
The South Australian Government has officially announced funding for a major upgrade of the Coober Pedy Airport.

The Minister for Regional Development, Rory McEwen, who is in town for the annual regional development conference, has pledged AU$500,000 for the airport upgrade.

The funding will be matched by local council to help develop the airport's small terminal.

I doubt it Marty. Several airports in Queensland have also got the same thing from the government, and I highly doubt they're sending E-jets to places like Nockatunga, Charleville and Eromanga, .
