Some question with flying Jetstar

Hi all,

I have been a loyal customer of Virgin Australia for all of my domestic flights, but in the Christmas period I am travelling to Tasmania with my friends and unfortunately we are all flying Jetstar.

I have selected a Plus bundle, which includes $5 meal voucher on board and 20kg checked luggage.

1. Where and when will I be able to obtain the meal voucher to be used on board? I have checked my E-mail and I can't see the voucher attached with my air ticket.

2. I am a VA Gold member. Can I visit the VA lounge before my JQ flight?

3. Will I able to earn status credits on Qantas for my JQ flight?

4. I saw on the 'Manage Booking' page that I can request a meal on JQ flight. If it is a 6am flight, what meals will they provide? Can I use my meal voucher to pre-book a meal for my JQ flights?

1. Its programmed to the passwnger list so they will ask you how you wish to use it onboard as they come through.

3. I believe that is part of the plus bundle

4. Never used this, would be easier to do so onboard one would think.

I purchased the Plus bundle for my flight. You cannot prebook your meal.

Also may I ask can I buy food at the airport and consume it on a Jetstar flight?

Yes you can but no hot drinks.

When the crew come around with the food trolley, you may want to mention to them that you have a $5 voucher. Don't just rely on them to tell you that the voucher can be used.
