Default VH-VWX A321 Jetstar

Hey Guys,

VH-VWX arrived into Australia today here in Darwin. Not sure where it came from or where it departed for, but was on the ground for approx 1 hour for re-fuel then departed.

Thought some might like to know to keep an eye out for it!

looking at both those photos, is it just me or are the Jetstar markings on the tail on VWZ in a lower position then that of VWX tail markings?

Or the E & T are larger on the tail.

I have definitely noticed that. VWZ just got a dodgy paintjob from the start. That photo shows how the orange star looks slightly lower on the tail than normal, and the silver paint has quite a golden hue to it compared to normal. You can clearly see the colour difference by looking at the nose cone which has been subbed off another aircraft in the fleet.

VWY, which was the one that arrived all-white received an up-to-standard paintjob and looks fine though.

VWX was in the Sydney area three time today, unfortunately no route information in the ACARS transmissions. ....

VH-VWX XX7982 23/05/2009 11:44 -------- A321-231 --------
VH-VWX XX0818 23/05/2009 15:41 -------- A321-231 --------
VH-VWX XX0819 23/05/2009 18:42 -------- A321-231 --------

Just noticed some route details on another thread http://yssyforum.net/board/showthread.php?t=2994&page=5
