Hi all,

I'm after a simple, quick and reliable system for transferring CF or SD card files from GoPro's and cameras onto portable hard drives without the need for a computer.

What can you recommend?

Do you have an iPad or iPhone??

You connect your HDD and SD card into this device. You then control it from an app on your phone/iPad that allows you to copy from one to the other. It has bonus things like able to become a wireless hotspot etc.

I used it while travelling around Europe. Was easy each night to dump the SD card to an SSD via the app on my iPad. You can also download from the card to your phone so you can use it for stuff (FB, email etc).

Very light and easy to use. If you want to test one I can send mine to you, but only because you're a good lookin, honest fella.

Thanks Stephen. I'll look into it.
I won't be carrying any sort of tablet, just an iPhone, as it would take up precious room on the bike.
