Default Aircraft Engine falls off truck - Sydney

From the Daily Telegraph:

A TRUCK has lost a huge aircraft engine close to the airport this morning causing traffic chaos, while a burst water main northwest of the city has seen motorists delayed by up to two hours.

A crane has been ordered in to upright the General Electric engine which toppled off the back of the truck on Forest Road near the Princess Highway.

The massive load came to a rest just metres from the footpath.

Early indications are the chain securing the load snapped when the driver hit the breaks.

A grey cover over the object is labelled: “General Electric, Commercial Engine Division, Cincinnati, Ohio”.

Elsewhere on either the frame or the covers over the engine are markings for RAAF and 'CF6-80E1 ENGINE', indicating it's an engine which would be more at home on a RAAF KC-30A (A330MRTT)!
