Default Sky Writting?

Ok quick question here. I've been hearing a plane buzzing round for a few hours and when i went out the front to get the paper there was a sky writer doing some writing for Morgans over Baulkham Hills and i guess the Hills in general. Got to ask, what sort of clearance do they get or how do they go about it?
Do they get a block of altitude which they are allowed to be in and keep everyone else out of that block? or what?

Always bugged me haha

Anyone know it would be great to hear.

Cheers
Gerard

A block clearance would probably be available if needed, however all I have seen on radar are normally assigned a certain flight level that they seem to adhere to pretty well.

Regards.
