QF 743s on SYD-PER - Interesting Deployment Patterns
Hi Guys,
I recently booked my travels form SYD to PER in mid October 2008, both flights on the 747-300s. I was just a little curious about their deployment patterns - (1) I noticed that the 747-300s are now on the 1010am flight (QF581) from Sydney instead of the 0810 one as before (QF575, now an A332). However, the 1210pm (QF577) is now a 767-300. I always thought 577 was more popular than 581 so why does 581 now get the (arguably) better equipment? (2) Is there any likelihood that QF581 may revert back to a 767 or a 737 considering that for the past few days, it's been a 737 on 581 but a 743 on 577? (3) Also, oddly enough, although usually the A333 is on QF574 (545am from PER), on one particular Tuesday in October, it's on QF642 (910am from PER). Is this likely to change? Thanks for all your responses in advance! |

With the frequency they are going U/S anything can happen. Nothings guaranteed.

Might be tied in with the A333 schedule change on SIN-PER late in Oct.
