Default SYD-AKL and CHC-SYD

I'm flying to AKL next Wednesday on QF55 and coming back to SYD from CHC on 15/9 on QF46. Qantas website says these flights are operated by B767 but I heard from somewhere that they could be replaced by B737. Is this true?

Is it too early to find out the regos of these 2 flights at this stage?

Ryan - there is a chance that the aircraft will be downgraded. Only three weeks out, a lot can happen. If the loads are only showing 150 seats or so sold for the flight (and the subsequent flights the aircraft was scheduled on), a downgrade is likely. Other factors include any freight that might be on board. My flights to Brisbane in January were 767's and downgraded to 734's a week out purely based on the loads.
