to me the Qantas logo on the A330 still seems to look aesthetically big, though the title to me looks much better on the A380, 747, 767 and 737

Tamar Valley - I think that is in Tassie near Launceston.

VH-EBM operated its first revenue sector today as the 575 SYD/PER.

Not so sure about the accuracy of the opening line.

The QF media release is better

Scott, it makes perfect sense when you read the second part of the opening line. Ie the bit in bold below. It puts it in context.

Namely "QANTAS has launched its first A330-200 aircraft to service domestic routes, providing new seating and inflight entertainment options for passengers."

Sarah, EBM ops QF467 SYD-MEL on Monday according to an employee publication. Last week I worked with a CSM who was due to work this flight and he received a special email from the company advising him that this would be the first flight for the new aircraft - which has so major differences in cabin layout.

Gareth, that's interesting about VH-EBM flying the QF467 on 30 Nov. On that day it flew as QF6111 departing Sydney at 1238 and returning at 1451. It flew up to FL400+ over the Canberra area for most of the flight. According to my SBS log, didn't fly again till yesterday when it flew the QF575 service as Sarah mentioned.

EBM was definitely supposed to operate the QF467/30Nov. And the notice that I read was from Monday 30 Nov, too. Perhaps some pre-service entry issues?
