Default Alice Springs Airpark

The latest ERSA shows the new TWY L and Airpark here at Alice Springs (YBAS), and indeed work appears to be complete on the facility.

SO...

Anyone in the know as to what our first 'guest' to the facility will be and when they will arrive? Will QF continue to send the fleet over to the US for storage or will they now be sending some heavy metal our way for storage or parting out?

Although it's sad to see an aircraft come to the end of its life, we're looking forward to seeing some unusual types arriving here in the red center....

QF should think locally and help create more Australian jobs and get all their future retirements parted out at the Alice.
As they have shed so many jobs throughout all their operations.
