Air Asia have changed the colour of thier logo on the Facebook page from red to grey............sadly, I think they know the outcome is not likely to be a good one.

This is where PK-AXC goes from being tracked by ADS-B Receiving Station WARR-2, to having an estimated position/track (Radar T-EST1). Not sure if this just means there were no stations
tracking after this point, or this is where the ADS-B transmissions stop.

Flightradar24 believes the timing of their loss of tracking was due to coverage in the area.
https://twitter.com/flightradar24/st...62258861826048 Flightradar24 lost it at 23:12 UTC. It seems to be accepted that it went missing from an ATC perspective at 23:18 UTC. |

Indonesian authorities say items resembling an emergency slide and a plane door have been seen in the expanded search area in the Java Sea.
