Qf648 3/6
QF648 has been cancelled (PER->MEL).
Would be due to the inbound aircraft not due to leave Melbourne until 1:40am local. (481) I wonder if this is due to the weather (more likely), or the 743 AGAIN? (Only the big 6 hr delay to suggest other than the weather atm..) |

as I mentioned in the other thread...QF583 was delayed the other day which inturn screwed the flight to Melbourne later on the same night, yesterday the SYD-PER flight was delayed again too.
QF 583 from SYD was also delayed again today and there is a story about yesterday's mechanical delay in todays West newspaper. rest will likely be down to the fog this morning in Melbourne & the fact that it caused a substantial delay to QF 648 from last night. |

More than likely a late arrival from MEL
Todays flights TO PER FROM MEL Flight # Destin SCHED Actual Departure QF 775 PERTH 06:10 06:23 QF 485 PERTH 08:25 17:17 QF 475 PERTH 10:45 12:26 QF 769 PERTH 12:15 16:15 QF 777 PERTH 15:10 15:40 QF 481 PERTH 19:40 Cancelled Not a good day to travel to PER let alone anywhere in Australia today due to so many cancellations and delays. As I said tomorrow will be just as bad I can see the fog rolling in over MEL at the moment! |

At least for today and tomorrow he can blame the fog
Apart from that the poor old 743's are the main issues |

24/7 utilisation is killing them...
that and im sure some of these recent delays (not perth nesecarily, but other routes) are attributed to engineering. |
