Nope. The 1500 departure arrives in Melbourne at 16:10. That doesn't leave enough time to turn around fly back to Canberra and be ready for a 17:10 flight. So 100% two different a/c.

PS and getting OT a little I was just seeing if it was possible to do a last flight trip and not overnight in Melbourne and noticed that the last service from Melbourne to Canberra that day (QF822) is operated by a 767-300, it then turns around and goes back to Melbourne as QF821. Now of course 767's are common MEL-CBR, but never seen one in the evening, especially on a Sunday. Anyone know how long this has been happening for?

They often do 822/821 on Sundays Ash, and that's between parliamentary sittings from memory.

Agree Zac that's my take on it as well... look at Canberra getting both last scheduled flights!

Yeah, pretty common to see the 763 on Sunday night, however the booking system is showing a 738 for 822/821 that day.

It is now, but was showing a 767 earlier! If it hadn't of been I would have noticed and asked.

Guys,

By my count (I could be wrong), TJS & TJX are the only two left

Is that right ?

100% correct Greg!

Also Ash, I think you may have mistakenly put in the 23/3 as your return date as there is a memo at work with all the irregular 763 ops to CBR and QF822/821 on the 23/3 is one of them!

I'll be in 5f on the last sector! TJS will be the aircraft, TJX will do your flight up in the morning!
