Qantas To Go Daily MEL-LHR, 6x MEL-LAX, Daily SYD-JNB
Little surprise, I suppose. Does anyone know the approximate times of the A380 deliveries?

Not really. They were given permission by the Air Services Commission back in Feb to go daily. They were just waiting for the A380's 7 and on to arrive to free up a 747 to operate that extra service.

Also with these changes.
SYD-MNL and SYD-BNE-MNL from NOV 2010 will switch from 767 to A330 aircraft...... about time but no word on SYD-HNL as yet. |

Hi All,
What about starting a 744 to ops MEL to JNB, say 3x week? Or Even Jetstar A332 to JNB via PER? Stuart

Not likely given V Australia has started this route now.
If anything from Melbourne starts from QF it will be back to PVG. |

Also this week QantasLink announced it will begin its first Intl route.
12x weekly CNS-POM-CNS services using the Q400s. The flights connect with QF domestic services to/from SYD, MEL, and BNE. Thanks |

For Sydney services, the QANTAS media release of 31 May, 2010 also said that:
"Qantas currently has six A380s in service. It expects to take delivery of its seventh in the final quarter of 2010, enabling Sydney-London A380 services to go daily, and to have received the tenth aircraft by March 2011." |

Qantas like making life difficult for V Australia so adding MEL-JNB would do that very nicely! |

It seems the speculated SYD - HKG A380 service won't come until Q2/3 2011 then if Qantas is trying to make SYD & MEL - LAX & LHR (via SIN) to be a fully A380 service first. Perhaps when its 11th airplane comes we could see it flying between HKG & SYD Daily?
I just trying to respond to the previous rumour that Qantas is start training pilots to fly A380 to HKG & BKK. However it would be a good move to beat V Australia in providing a better service to LA and South Africa.
