Dont get your hopes up guys.

BAC have it as a AN124F not a 225.

About 6 monthes ago this was also rumoured when the first 2 NH90'S arrived from Europe but no it turned out to be a 124F.

Dont get me wrong as i would love it to be a 225.

I've heard this too from someone in ATC, but I might pop out anyway, just in case!

Sorry folks, its just as Lloyd said, no An-225 for you. Its an An-124 coming at the moment as VDA2454.
Malpensa-Anchorage-Honolulu-Brisbane.

Hmm, there will be some quite disappointed journalists, including one who I know has booked a flight to BNE on the promise of the AN225 as noted in the press release!

Wonder if its anyone on here. lol.

Kind of glad this didn't happen on Monday and I would have flown up to slight disappointment

Still, seeing an AN124 is not the worst thing
