Default Your favourite Movie/TV Show/Music Video with an aviation theme

I have a favourite in each category.....

Movie: Soul Plane (2004). Nothing funnier than a weed smoking pilot who is afraid of heights or a plane blinged up with some fully sick hydraulics.

TV Show: Tales Of The Golden Monkey (1982-83) Great series, albeit short-lived. Great to see the Grumman Goose in action.

Music Video: Foo Fighters "Learn To Fly" (1999). Great clip, as always from the Foos, feat. Jack Black and Kyle as the drug smuggling cleaners who hide their drugs in the coffee machine only to have the flight crew brew said coffee and serve to the cabin and pilots causing alot of high times. Low and behold the only sane people left on the plane to land it are the Foos who drank scotch instead of coffee.

I suspect this comment is more a reflection on you than the movie Nick!

I liked 'Black Sheep Squadron' starring Robert Conrad from the late 70s/early 80s. The movie 'Mosquito Squadron' starring David McCallum is a classic, as is 'Battle of Britain', and 'The Dambusters' (all mid-late 60s). Take the crappy storyline out of 'Pearl Harbor' (but keep Kate Beckinsale - phworrr!), and some of the flying sequences are very good!

By my absolute favourite is a French film call 'Sky Fighters' (Les Chevaliers du Ciel) from 2005 - absolutely fantastic flying scenes and and a pretty good storyline too.

For music, there's the Blue Angels clip set to Foo Fighters' 'All My Life' - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QmdBb4BWT10

Soul Plane is the maddest movie ever!!

Best quote from that movie is when Snoop Dogg tells everyone theyre at crusing altitude.

"Laddies and gentleman, we have reached our crusing altitude of 33 thousand feet.. 33,000 feet?!?! OH SH&* man we F&^*ing higher than Randy Jackson at the Source Awards! Oh sh&^ man im going to be sick. Chuck this sh&^ on autopilot, i got to boo-boo."

Music; I agree again with Learn to Fly and I like "Glamerous" by Fergie.

I forgot to give a very credible mention (and second favourite movie) to Donnie Darko. The whole movie starting and ending with a jet engine falling from the sky.

On the whole Donnie Darko is arguably the greatest movie I have ever seen.

Song would be Learning to Fly by Pink Floyd. Particularly the interlude with the flight checks being called out in the background.

TV Show would be Air Crash Investigations I suppose? Not because I like the crashes, but for the investigations and measures taken to make sure they don't occur again.
