Aircraft was out of service for like 2 months or so, it was fully repainted in Albury and had its interior refurbished and underwent major checks, etc. I recall VH-SBA having a terrible paint job previously.

I'm going on a REX Saab this Saturday afternoon, (ZL3574) Burnie to Melbourne and back (ZL3579) and it could be on this very aircraft. Who knows?. Strange things always happen.

You've got a 1 in 41 chance of it happening Paul!!
I'm sure Adam could tell you the correct odds by looking at where it is scheduled.

A shot taken today in less than perfect weather and with nearly every ground crew in attendance!

Significantly less chance than that if I've got anything to do with it - the dirty dirty A models have to go somewhere!!

I was told that VH-KDI was to be sold to argentine airline SOL last month but the sale didn't fall through. Looks like they are probably all going to be converted into freighters. 3 units have allready been converted, 2 for Pel-Air and 1 was sold in July.

I've shifted my flights to next Saturday Afternoon. November 29 because of delays due to bad weather. I would have been stuck for the night. I assume the new SBA is still in Sydney but it could rotate to Melbourne any time. Looking forward to getting up there and getting my ears blasted next Saturday.

I actually see more ex American Eagle B models than anything else these days.
