Speaking of ex Virgin ATRs there is a short article published by Executive Traveller last Thursday about the two aircraft helping to launch Ireland's new Emerald Airlines.

The article says that Emerald plans to take more than the two ATRs that left our shores in May. Could FVZ be heading to the UK?

Quote:
The Dublin based start up is set to take over the routes of the former Aer Lingus Regional franchise by October, and plans for the two 68-seat all-economy planes to be joined by a dozen more by the end of the year.

Possible re: FVZ.

The article would be referring to VPI/VPJ that both arrived in Exeter in May.

Mentioned that several weeks ago. The two currently stored in Exeter.

VH-VPJ/2-KCBA and & VPI/2-CGCA

Emerald have taken over (bought) Fly-Be maintenance base at Exeter.

I suspect it’s being converted given MIA is the home of AEI, doesn’t make sense to go to Miami for maintenance when their are planty of options closer to home.
