good point.

It is their biggest source of revenue. More along the lines of what i was thinking that they will face some more competition in coming times on the route with open skies agreement, so perhaps some more A380's will go there rather than LHR.

Default Link to animation of QF A380 fitout

http://www.qantas.com.au/info/flying...ff:edm:jun08:2

The pics show the first a/c as VH-OQA [c/n 014], which is consistent with the a/c we have seen in Hamburg. Will "QA" be added to the tail top like the rest of the fleet?

I guess we'll have to reserve judgement until we see it in the flesh, but from what I can see from the animation, it will be hard for first class window seat passengers to actually see out the window, and the setup doesn't seem to hold a candle to what SQ has achieved. Also, the J class seat doesn't appear to be an order of magnitude better than the current Skybed, although any enhancement has to be an improvement.

On the plus side, the laptop power and USB/Ethernet connectivity arrangements seem excellent.

Interesting how they have chosen to have no Y on the upper deck!

All J and PY. Bottom deck first and Y.

EDIT: I love how the seats in the demo (Y) are red lol!

EDIT2: Poor to have First Class screens at only 17inches, yet Y are at 10.6in. I am sure SQ's are much bigger in first?

EDIT3: I didnt know they had an onboard business lounge...

so QF is currently offering 380 pound return flights from London to Sydney for March/April 2009 which equals about $800 AUD...its available for the first 380 passengers, amazingly they've offered NOTHING to their Australian customers.

Possibly because there are no other units of currency 380 of which would have sufficient value!

Whats your point?

The seats are also red in the actual A380.

Only 1 Y zone is green.
