Bankstown Walk Around - 14/03/2016
I had a secondary motive for checking out Bankstown today, only partly succeeded with that, although lucky to pick up the only bit of sunshine all day
during my walk around. Nice to catch my first EC120B Neat Flyer VH-AUQ, and the Ex Air National BAe 146-200 ZK-ECO, although this does not appear on the New Zealand Register any more. After Air National, it operated by Vincent Aviation, who subsequently ceased operations in 2104 (not sure what is happening to the aircraft now ). The other BAe 146 VH-SIF is still in the hangar, apparently waiting on the AOC to commence operations (its been a long wait). Also picked up the Toll ATR42-300 VH-TOX, but unfortunately I only took my 17-55mm lens on the Apron walk, and it was parked out to far. Bankstown also provided a good selection of Corporate Jets as usual, and on the way home, I stopped in at Sydney DOM5 to pickup the Swiss Jet Gulfstream 650 HB-JUF, and McIver Aviation Bell 407 VH-IPG.
