QLK at OAG today
Morning folks!
Noticed on flightaware VH-LQF operated a QLK294D/QLK711D rotation to Orange (OAG) this morning, with VH-QOP scheduled to operate a second OAG rotation this afternoon as QLK710D/QLK295D. Does anyone know if this has happened in the past / likely to happen again in the future?? Also does anyone know if this is a charter (mining, government, etc)?? Can't imagine it would be any kind of proving run or otherwise preparing for a new route! Cheers Rowan |

Does seem feasible! TQG did a similar pair of rotations to Parkes in late August using QLK2294 and QLK2295; TQG also ran a Captain's Choice or similar tour in June this year which I'm sure used QLK2294. So perhaps those flight numbers are reserved for the CC tour work?

I'll find out the exact reason for you guys, but from memory its just a charter nothing else. My dad works at OAG and would have been the agent on duty at the time, got a feeling it was mining related.
