Default Light aircraft down Victoria

Not a good Christmas for aviation!

A LIGHT plane has crashed in southeast Victoria.

The Country Fire Authority (CFA) said they were notified a plane had crashed in a paddock at Woodleigh, in Gippsland, about 8.40am (AEDT) today.

Emergency crews were travelling to the scene and no further information was available.

On the news tonight, it was a late model Cessna 172, not an old Cessna 150 as depicted on yahoo.

Looks like he has hit power lines
