Default QF A330-300 domestic operations

Hi all

I'm wondering whether there are any scheduled Qantas A333 operations domestically, in particular PER - SYD or MEL - PER routes? Im looking to book flights in december which could involve one of these legs and would like to check out the A333 if possible.

I remember looking earlier in the year and there were a handful of A333 between Perth and Sydney I think later in the year, but can't find one now.

Thanks.
Shaun

Hi Shaun,

The flights below are all scheduled A330 runs. Usually shared between A332/A333. I stand to be corrected.

QF575/QF580 - SYD-PER-SYD
QF583/QF568 - SYD-PER-SYD
QF577/QF566 - SYD-PER-SYD
QF581/QF582 - SYD-PER-SYD

QF485/QF802 - MEL-PER-MEL
QF481/QF648 - MEL-PER-MEL
QF777/QF776 - MEL-PER-MEL

QF409/QF420 - SYD-MEL-SYD

Thanks,
Ryan

The A333s replace the B763s on the MNL route from NOV which means the domestic flying will be further reduced.

Thanks all for the replies. By the sounds of it there may not be many domestic A333's by the time December comes around, but ill keep my eye out.

Another question. I see that some A330-200's are international configuration (with Skybed I presume), what chance is there of catching one of these on a redeye Perth-Sydney? And, is Skybed worth it for a good sleep? Never flown business class before, and thinking of using some FF points for an upgrade!

Cheers.
Shaun

Definitely A330-300 as the 4 international configured -200's are almost exclusively required for YSSY-NZAA-KLAX-KJFK. Honolulu is not a problem range wise in a -300. It carries a little more fuel than the 767 for a very similar fuel burn & a slightly higher cruising mach number.
